A Pixel Story

DIY kits made in France designed to offer a simple, fun, and responsible experience. Because for us, beauty must rhyme with meaning, each creation is imagined, prepared, and assembled by hand in our workshop.

PIXEL CORNER

Here we go!

It's COVID, we're stuck at home, and we're doing lots of creative workshops to keep the kids busy. So we've decided: we're going to box up our pixel art workshops so everyone can do street art at home.

We're opening our first shop on Etsy, we're hand-painting the tiles, and assembling everything in the basement cellar. It's artisanal, it's homemade, but people love it!

Did you know? Before we were called Pixel Corner, we were called X Loot Shop!

PIXEL CORNER

The realization

After months of research, we're finally moving to recycled glass tiles — no more hand painting! We're sourcing good materials in France and Europe, lightening the boxes, and refining the experience to make it simple and accessible to everyone.

And most importantly: we're getting out of the basement! We're opening a real workshop dedicated to pixel art. The idea is becoming a reality.

PIXEL CORNER

The big leap

Pixel Corner is taking off! We're growing and revamping our website to offer an even more creative experience: new models, a bulk section for more advanced creators, and plenty of ideas in the pipeline.

Thanks to you, the community is growing, feedback is pouring in, and we're learning alongside you. Every message, every shared creation, means a lot to us.

It's together that we bring this adventure to life.

PIXEL CORNER

The meetings

That year, we finally met you in person: at Fleux, BHV, Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, Le Bon Marché, Citadium, the Maison & Objet fair, and at designer markets.

It was a bit dizzying, but we kept our feet firmly on the ground and always on our mosaic tiles!

PIXEL CORNER

Collaborations

Projects are multiplying: great collaborations are emerging, the team is growing, and our workshop is moving, still in Saint-Ouen, our beloved city.

The team is complete: Hansika, Théo, Simon, Lucie, and Malik.

True to our mission: to create, share, and make your walls shine with pixels. The adventure continues!

ABOUT US

🎨 Since 2020

Pixel Corner

📍 Saint-Ouen, Paris Region

Hi there! We're Pixel Corner. A small workshop in the Paris region where we make kits for creating mosaic pixel art. Yes, pixel art, but in real life, with real tiles that you assemble pixel by pixel, street artist style. 🎨

The initial idea? To make pixel art accessible to everyone. Whether you're a nostalgic gamer, a street art enthusiast, or just someone looking for a creative and relaxing activity, we wanted everyone to be able to create their own pixel art piece without a hassle.

How did we get here? 🤔

It all started with a passion for pixel art — you know, that retro aesthetic from early video games, but also urban street art. We thought: "What if we could bring that home, but in a DIY, handmade version?"

After many trials (and a few failures, to be honest), we found the right combination: quality recycled glass tiles, designs we create ourselves, and complete kits that we assemble by hand in our workshop.

"We wanted to create something that blends creativity, nostalgia, and decor. And most importantly, something that's as enjoyable to make as it is to look at."

What we actually do 🛠️

We design and prepare pixel art mosaic kits. Each kit contains:

Recycled glass tiles in the right colors
A grid to assemble your tiles into a single piece
Suitable professional adhesive
A detailed guide to assemble everything easily

We offer designs inspired by retro gaming, street art, and pop culture. Classics inspired by Mario or Pac-Man, but also more original creations that we imagine ourselves. Whatever the case, there's always a Pixel Corner twist.

And the cool thing? Each kit is prepared to order, by hand, in our Saint-Ouen workshop. No giant stock or industrial production — just artisanal work done with care.

Our values 💪

We're not going to give you a big corporate speech. Here's what really matters to us:

Quality first: We use high-quality recycled glass, not cheap plastic. Your creations are made to last. Sourced in France in the Loire Valley and produced in the Spanish Basque Country.
Handmade in France: Really. We assemble all kit components in our workshop, in Saint-Ouen. It takes longer, but that's how we work. Our unique packaging is produced in France and all our printing is done on recycled paper by our printers based in France.
Eco-responsible: Recycled glass, local production, shortest possible circuit, no waste. We pay attention.
Accessible to all: Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced artist, our kits are designed for everyone to create.

The team behind it all 👥

We're a small team of 3 passionate individuals. There are those who create the designs, those who prepare the kits, those who manage logistics... In short, we do a bit of everything, and we love what we do.

Everyone who works at Pixel Corner has their own story with pixel art, DIY, or street art. That's why we truly understand what you're looking for when you order a kit: a creative moment, a bit of nostalgia, and a unique piece of decor.

Why choose us? 🎯

Because we do things differently. We don't want to be just another online store that resells mass-produced items from the other side of the world.

When you buy from Pixel Corner, you support:

A French workshop that creates and manufactures locally
An artisanal and eco-responsible approach
A small team that puts heart into every kit

And as a bonus, you leave with a unique creation that you made yourself, and that you'll be proud of. Not bad, right? 😉

Shall we stay in touch? 📱

If you have questions, design ideas, or just want to chat about pixel art, feel free to write to us. We always reply (we promise, even if it can take a few days during busy periods).

And if you're passing through Saint-Ouen, come see us! We'd be happy to show you the workshop and chat creativity over a coffee. ☕
