COMMITMENT - TERRE D'ABEILLE - Save the BZZZ
Save The Bzzz: our kits for bees
Bees are disappearing. It’s nothing new, but it’s still just as alarming. So, at Pixel Corner, we decided to do our part: creating solidarity pixel art kits where a portion of the sales goes directly to Terre d'Abeilles, an association that fights to protect pollinators. 🐝
The deal is simple 💚
For every "Save The Bzzz" or "Space Bzzz" kit sold, we donate €1 to Terre d'Abeilles. No middleman, no commission. Straightforward.
Since 2024, we have already donated over €250
We know it's not huge. But it's a start. And above all, every kit sold helps raise awareness. The more we sell, the more we talk about bees, and the more we donate.
Who is Terre d'Abeilles? 🌻
Terre d'Abeilles is a French association founded in 2002 that fights for the protection of bees and wild pollinators. Their mission:
- Raise public awareness about the disappearance of bees
- Call on institutions to ban neonicotinoid pesticides (those nasty things that kill bees)
- Preserve the ecosystems essential to colonies
- Inform about the dangers of intensive agriculture
Their message is clear: no bees, no pollination. No pollination, no crops. No crops, we're in trouble. It's as simple as that.
Solidarity kits 🎨
We have created two designs specifically for this cause:
🐝 Save The Bzzz
💚 €1 donatedA stylized pixel art bee, cheerful and colorful. The kit includes everything you need: a grid, recycled glass tiles, glue, a frame, and an illustrated guide. You just have to assemble it pixel by pixel.

🚀 Space Bzzz
💚 €1 donatedThe space bee! A more poetic creation, where our bee travels among the stars. Same concept, same solidarity commitment.
See the Space Bzzz kit →Why a pixel art kit for bees? 🤔
Because we wanted to do something concrete AND creative. A kit that:
- Offers you a relaxing creative moment
- Provides original and meaningful decor
- Financially contributes to the protection of bees
- Raises awareness among your friends and family when you display it at home
Every pixel you place is a small step for the bees. It's symbolic, but it's also very real: your purchase directly funds the actions of Terre d'Abeilles.
A responsible gift idea 🎁
If you're looking for a gift with a purpose, this is a great option. You are giving:
- A creative activity (assembling the mosaic)
- Unique decor (the finished bee)
- A solidarity contribution (the donation to the association)
Perfect for someone who loves DIY, pixel art, or is environmentally conscious. Or all three!
FAQs 💬
Is the donation automatic?
Yes. As soon as you buy a solidarity kit, €1 goes directly to Terre d'Abeilles. You don't have to do anything else.
Is it difficult to assemble?
No. Like all our kits, it is designed to be accessible to beginners. You follow the grid pixel by pixel; it's zen and easy.
Can I make a larger one?
Absolutely! You can buy our bulk tiles and create a giant wall version of your bee.
Why only €1?
Because we prefer to donate a fixed and transparent amount rather than playing with vague percentages. €1 is clear and concise. And it adds up quickly when lots of people participate.
What now? 🚀
If you want to support bees while creating original pixel art decor, these kits are made for you. You create, you decorate, you help. It's as simple as that.
And if you know someone who loves nature, DIY, or just bees, share this article with them. The more of us taking action, the more real the impact.
